Abstract

In a scenario which is characterized by the increasingly impact of technologies on legal notions and processes, virtual spaces do not represent a guarantee for the promotion of gender equality. Along these lines, the paper focuses on the new forms and articulations that violence against women has taken on the web, in order to outline possible strategies to combat them in the wake of the current legislation.
